The New Castle County Economic Development Council (NCCEDC) Works With DCANet to Launch New Website.

WILMINGTON, DE (April 7, 2003) -- Today the New Castle County Economic Development Council (NCCEDC) launched its web site. The NCCEDC is a partnership between the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce and the Office of the New Castle County Executive. This groundbreaking initiative includes business, County, municipal, State and Chamber representatives.
DCANet, Delaware’s largest Internet Service Provider, was chosen to work closely with the NCCEDC to develop the web site. “We are proud to have been chosen to work with the Council on this very important project,” said Keith Duncan, President and CEO of DCANet. “As a local company, we are very interested in the economic development of New Castle County, and we are especially pleased with the way the site has turned out, offering as it does a lot of useful information about our region.”
As its core mission, the Council will foster responsible economic development and sustainable business growth in the New Castle County, Delaware. In addition to its role as a catalyst for economic development, the Council serves as a select forum for the discussion of issues facing the business community.
