DCANet Welcomes the National Constitution Center to Philadelphia

July 1, 2003

WILMINGTON, DE - DCANet is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the Internet services provider and network consultant for the National Constitution Center, opening July 4, 2003 on Independence Mall in Philadelphia.

DCANet's relationship with the National Constitution Center extends back several years. DCANet provided the original National Constitution Center offices with SDSL Internet access. In the new museum, DCANet is providing highly available multimegabit Internet access, facilitating all online commerce and exhibit Internet transit services. DCANet also provides consulting on the implementation of a distributed, scalable network architecture to deliver bandwidth anywhere in the Center.

"We are pleased to continue our commitment to the greater Philadelphia region by providing Internet transit and consulting services to the National Constitution Center," said Keith Duncan, PhD, President of DCANet. "We strongly believe in the mission of the Constitution Center as the first museum dedicated to honoring and explaining the United States Constitution, and we are privileged to be a part of this important project."

"We depend on DCANet to provide quality service and support to the Center", says Nancy Massey, Vice President of Information Technology for the National Constitution Center. With our IT staff working closely with DCANet's consulants, we've built a network system that will continue to service the National Constitution Center well into the future."

Continues Duncan, "The experience we've gained from other high profile projects, including the Pennsylvania Convention Center and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, provides the necessary skills needed to accommodate and sustain the level of service demanded by a customer of the National Constitution Center's caliber."
