Broadband Service Provider DCANet Taps VocalData's VOISS Application Server to Support its Hosted IP Telephony Service Approximately 7 million individuals in the Delaware Valley will soon be able to benefit from the availability of advanced VoIP services Boston, September 23, 2003: VocalData, Inc., an application developer of hosted IP telephony solutions, today announced that DCANet, a provider of quality Internet services throughout areas of Pennsylvania and Delaware, has selected VocalData's VOISS application server for its hosted PBX service. That means that the more than 7 million people living in DCANet's service area will soon have access to the advanced capabilities and reduced costs offered by VoIP services. Customer deployments are scheduled to begin next month. DCANet currently offers a wide variety of broadband solutions to its customers, ranging from DSL, T1 and wireless to Internet co-location services. And of course, they no longer have to pay local or long-distance charges for calls between campuses, allowing the college to obtain a quick return on investment on the VoIP system.
