A. Our Commitment To Privacy
DCANet provides this privacy statement to explain our online-information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. We make our privacy statement available on our homepage and wherever personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information submitted to the DCANet website. On some pages you can order products, make requests and register to receive materials. The type of personal information that may be collected on these pages includes:

  • Name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Phone/fax number
  • Credit/debit card
  • Billing information

The Way We Use Information
The information you provide about yourself when placing an order for products or services is used solely to complete that order and enter your data into our billing system. We do not share this information with outside parties except when necessary to complete the order.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not not shared with outside parties. Customer information may be used by DCANet to advise existing customers of new products, updated pricing, and changes in billing or other account information.

DCANet may use nonidentifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that a certain number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that a certain number of men and a certain number of women filled out our registration form, but we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. These safeguards include, but are not limited to, firewalling, encryption, restricted access to personal data and internal privacy policies.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website from those we know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by contacting DCANet's Billing Department at billing@dca.net.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows an error.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

B. Copyright Complaints

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) was enacted to protect the intellectual property of individuals whose copyrighted works have been digitized and made available on the Internet. As required by the act Consult Dynamics/DCANet has submitted a notice to the Public Information Office, Register of Copyright.

Complaints regarding copyright infringements should be submitted via e-mail to legal@dca.net. The complaint should inlcude the following information:

  • a physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the infringed work;
  • identification of the infringed material;
  • contact information for the complainant, e.g.address, telephone number, electronic mail address;
  • a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law; and
  • a statement that the information contained in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

In response to a complaint containing the specified information DCANet will evaluate the alleged copyright infringement and the subscriber will be notified of the allegation. If the DCANet subscriber has removed the material or believes in good faith that the material was removed or access blocked as a result of a mistake or misidentification, that subscriber may send a counter notice legal@dca.net with the following information:

  • A statement that the material that has been removed.
  • OR
  • A statement (under penalty of perjury) that the subscriber believes in good faith that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Upon receipt of such a counter notice, DCANet shall promptly replace any removed material and/or cease disabling access to it, unless DCANet first receives appropriate notice from the complaining party that it has filed a law suit seeking a court order to restrain the subscriber from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity.

Any person who knowingly misrepresents to DCANet any of the above information will be liable to DCANet and/or the alleged infringing party or copyright owner for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
