- Type poff DCANet at your root shell prompt to disconnect. This will only work if you chose DCANet for your provider name in Step 3.
- If you chose provider for your provider name in Step 3, type poff to disconnect. If you used anything other than DCANet or provider, type poff [whatever you chose for the provider name]. You can also use poff -a to disconnect all of your connections.
- Type ifconfig ppp0 to see if you disconnected. Once you are disconnected, ifconfig will no longer show an IP.
- You are now finished configuring your dial-up connection in Debian GNU/Linux. If you need further instructions/help, please contact our help desk.
