Configuring Your Windows 95/98 Computer For
 Verizon /Covad ADSL Access
These step-by-step, illustrated instructions will help you configure your Windows 95/98 PC to connect to DCANet via your Verizon/Covad ADSL connection. Should you have trouble, please contact our help desk.

STEP 6:

  • Select "Enable DNS"
  • For hostname, enter your username,
  • For domain, enter dca.net
  • Under DNS search order, type in 207.245.82.2, then click "Add",
  • Then enter 204.183.80.2, and click add again.
  • You should now have those 2 sets of numbers in the same box, like the illustration below.

  • Click on OK, then OK again. When prompted please reboot your computer.

    When your computer reboots, you will then be online.

Note: Your screens may not look identical to the images in these directions, however they will contain most of the same information.
