| MS Access databases are supported on DCANet's Win2k servers. You can use an Access database with, Active Server Pages (.asp) or with custom written programs. You may need DCANet to setup a DSN for your database once it is uploaded to the server.
Important Note: For security reasons, DCANet runs MS
FrontPage extensions on Unix servers. Therefore, any
FrontPage functionality that requires MS access is not supported.
ASP tags work
natively on our Windows based servers. Just insert the tags and call your
pages .asp to make them work. Also note that .asp caching is in
effect. |
